So, the month of April was in like a lion, out like a...steamroller.

Things are slowly calming down at work, but I'm very very veeeerrry far behind on everyone's posts and fannish works. Apologies for that. Much needed vacation will be manifesting itself soon. Hopefully I can peel myself up off the pavement in time to enjoy it. :(

I have been wondering how you were doing. And I am glad your head is above the water (finally?)

Are you doing anything exotic on your vacation, or hanging out at home and sleeping in? (Although to working moms I think staying at home and sleeping in IS exotic ;D )

Thank you. Yes, I am planning on doing lots of staying home and sleeping (yes, that absolutely IS exotic!)--the thought of coordinating travel for a small family at this point is too tiring to contemplate....

P.S. How are the pirates faring, nowadays? ^_^

Sadly the pirates had to take a back seat to a term paper and then a crapload of tests and quizzes. But they will resume their saga after next Tuesday.

Edit: I should add, I did write some stuff up so there's some character development so to read if you are interested (this whole story is turning into character development, I need to coax them into starting some action scenes! :P ), but then I pretty much had to start concentrating almost exclusively on classwork. I seriously don't know how full time students had that class and their other classes too.

Ah, sympathies with the assignments. Sounds like the end is in sight, tho. Good luck on Tuesday (since I'm guessing that might be the final....)

Ooh. If you have more, I would certainly be interested in taking a look. ^_^ Action is nice, but character development is definitely cool stuff, too. Especially with these two. ^^

Thanks for the good thoughts for the final, I am soooo tired, I will just be glad when tomorrow (Tuesday) is over ;P But I think I will do pretty well on it, my review has teken a lot less time than I thought, so maybe the plethora of tests and quizzes has done some good. ;)

I'll try and clean up what I have done a bit and send it to you tomorrow night :D

Yes, it is very good to be employed, although definitely stressful in its own way. It sounds like April is a bad month for everyone. I hope you also get some well-deserved time away from the flattening atmosphere! ^_^

I'm definitely hoping to be around more in the next few weeks. I saw your lovely review for 12K and I'm going to have to go searching for it. ...And WA5 and the japanese WA6, and the latest Burial OVA--I have so much to catch up on.... (But I guess in a way that's a good thing!) ^_^
