Have not been around at all for the past two weeks due to an abrupt and unexpected surgery.

I'd rather forget the whole experience, so I won't go into the gory details. Suffice to say there was an extended hospital visit, many, many tests, and a day and a half spent talking to experts and exploring my options, trying to find a way to avoid the inevitable.

Currently, I'm healing up at home. While I'm very glad that the procedure had a positive outcome, it's difficult to escape the follow-up frustration at the lack of stamina and mobility that goes along with recovery. *sigh*

Awww! I'm so sorry! Yeah, I don't usually like to talk too much about these issues ... I wanna deliver a report, have everyone who wants put in their 2 cents, and then forget about it.
