The SEME or UKE Quiz
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as The Breaker SEME

You are the most imaginative, helpful, and strong-hearted SEME out there. You can be quiet and helpful at the same time which is a rarity. You're good at listening to others and you don't deny their ideas. One thing you can't stand is seeing someone sad, crying, or otherwise unhappy. Those who think you're shy aren't always the most right but it's true you don't need to talk much unless you have something important to say. You would be paired with the Sorrowful UKE because everyone needs a shoulder to cry on and you're just the guy/gal for the job. It's best to avoid the Homicidal SEME but even if you do that it's easy for someone as calm and helpful as you to get mixed up in the schemes of the certain Devilish UKE. You are truly best placed with the Gentle SEME as a buddy. For my last info, I have to say that you really don't mind and will go with the flow - whatever your partner is into is fine by you but considering who you're best matched with I'd say that they'd be too scared to do anything out of the ordinary. Give them a little nudge to let 'em know it's alright, okay?

Okay, yes. I guess after taking a Myers-Briggs type indicator test recently, it fits. But...seme? Hmm. A bit ironic, actually, since I was just pondering the other day the quandary of why I seem to write so much 85 when 58 makes more sense to me in light of canon interactions. Still, switching is good.

Strange.

Well, some parts of the internet, and for some types of INFPs in particular, I think. In my case at least, I tend to strongly prefer settings like Usenet, mailing lists, web forums/LJ, etc., where things aren't "live" like in IRC/IM chat settings; there's no pressure to be "on" and respond in a snap, you can think about your responses if you like, time-shift and do your socializing when you feel the most energetic and social, instead of when people are there. And it's a written medium, so it's particularly comfortable for folks who are better with writing eloquently and quickly than they are in extemporaneous speech...

Yes, that sounds very believable. I remember one time when I was part of a large RP and often got invited to very fast paced IM chat. I could hardly keep up with the conversation/s, let alone write fast enough to take part in it =_=;
I think I prefer to talk with one or a few people both in RL and IM chats, in bigger groups I easily drift away from the action, whether I want to or not :P

The worst form of communication for me is by phone, where I can't use/see expressions and gestures and have to rely solely on the spoken word.
You know how people are advised to speak slowly and clearly in phone conversations? Well, I tend to speak so fast people have trouble understanding things I say as it is...:'/

I can keep up with the speed with no problem -- super-fast typist here, and years of practice spent sitting around on IRC. But for me it's more of an emotional/mental thing, being "on" and live like that is more draining than something like LJ where you can take your own sweet time and go back to a post whenever you feel particularly alert and energetic. Chat, I have to be in the right mood to enjoy it, and if I try to do it when the mood's not there, it feels unpleasant, like the pressure of having to talk face-to-face when one isn't feeling particularly social...
